Laura was a champion for adults with hearing loss, pioneering Hear2Help hearing aid clinics across Nottinghamshire. She was so excited to have started up face-to-face sessions again after the pandemic and couldn’t wait to put our new micro suction clinics into practice.
Laura was a beautiful person inside and out; people loved her down-to-earth approach, her knowledge, experience and kindness shone through, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Hear Together came into being at the start of the pandemic and Laura’s cancer diagnosis came soon after. She remained a driving force of Hear Together, juggling this challenge alongside home schooling, lockdown and the effects of her intensive treatment.
Laura was our colleague, but more than that, she was a very dear friend, we will miss her so much and she will remain our guiding light.
Laura’s funeral will take place on Monday 14th March 1pm at Bramcote Crematorium.
