Earlier this week we ran our first Hear Together in-school KS2 workshop, kindly hosted by Mellers Primary School*. The focus of this workshop was to help students develop strategies for staying focused in class and remembering what they have been taught in readiness for exams.
The pupils were really engaged and were keen to try out the strategies taught. We even set the pupils the challenge of remembering key pieces of information before lunch which they were then able to successfully recall at the end of the workshop. We also challenged our recall in the afternoon by trying to re-create art in nature after having only a couple of minutes to study the image. Great fun was had by all, and everyone learned something new!
