There was races, backwards skating, and loads of smiles! It was wonderful to see all the children taking part and supporting one another on the ice; taking turns to push each other on the sledges, teaching each other and holding hands to build confidence. Big shout out to our volunteers who made it all happen and to the parents for encouraging our youngsters both off and on the ice! There were some tired kids (and parents!) by the end of the session, but everyone left with smiles on their faces.
