On Saturday 18th November we had seventeen youngsters join us at Tilly Pots for a session of chocolate making. While parents had the chance to have a cuppa and a catch up, the kids got stuck in making a range of chocolate treats to take home (although I suspect a fair amount of chocolate didn't even make it into the moulds!)
The kids had a chance to make chocolate teddies, flowers and love hearts and then they all decorated their own pizza box to take their goodies home with. This was a great opportunity for the children to catch-up with old friends, make new friends and generally eat as much chocolate as they could between filling the moulds. We also celebrated a number of birthdays that weekend, so the event felt extra special. As the session wore on the chocolate moustaches grew until we finally stopped for juice, and cakes as we waited for the chocolate to set.
All in all, the session was a hit and definitely one to return to next year. Hopefully we will see you all again at the Christmas panto on Thursday 14th December, and behind the scenes we are starting to put dates together for the 2024 events. We will be adding in a mixture of online and face to face events to try to make the sessions as accessible to everyone. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
